COASTAL ITINERARY OF SIRACUSA

AGNONE BAGNl
A beach several kilometers long in the coastal region of the Gulf of Catania, well furnished with restaurants and pizzerias.

BRUCOLI
A fishing village, it offers a small public beach and low rocks. Close to the town there is a small canal in the rock that forms a little port.

ARENELLA
Resort area nine kilometers south of Siracusa. Besides its well-equipped beach a stupendous rocky expanse is very inviting for bathers. Restaurants, pizzerias and discotheques are nearby.


FONTANE BIANCHE
The most popular seaside resort in the Siracusa area, it can also be easily reached by public transportation. The shore is divided into a number of well-equipped beaches and there are numerous clubs and discotheques.

AVOLA BEACHES
The strip of coast near the town of Avola is broken up into beaches and rocky areas, The largest beach, more than a kilometer long, is not far from the town.

NOTO MARINA
Six kilometers from Noto, the coastal area is predominantly sandy. There are several hotels in the village.

ELORO
Apart from its importance as an archaeological area, in the sandy creeks between the mouth of the Tellaro river and the rocky winding ravines the visitor will find one of the most spectacular panoramas of our entire coastline. The beaches are open to the public.

VENDICARI-SAN LORENZO
In part a nature reserve. From the village of San Lorenzo as far as Portopalo the coastline is a continuous alternation of beaches and rocky areas. The fishing village at Marzamemi is especially picturesque.

PORTOPALO
The town's principal activity is fishing. The visitor will find several public beaches, hotels, camping grounds and restaurants.

ISOLA DELLE CORRENTI
Geographically south of the city of Tunis, the small island that characterizes the spot can be reached from the mainland by way of a small pier that separates two splendid beaches.
